Laser Hair Removal

What’s Laser hair removal

Laser hair removal is a procedure to remove unwanted body hair. People may want the treatment on their underarms, back or bikini area.Laser hair removal is a safe and effective way to remove unwanted body hair, but it’s important to note that it is not permanent and may require periodic maintenance treatments..
It’s not permanent, but the results last longer than shaving or waxing. Most people need about six

treatments but the most common areas are:

    • Face
    • Underarms.
    • Bikini area, or any areas that grow pubic hair.
    • Back.
    • Legs.

How does Laser Hair Removal Work?

Laser hair removal uses a process called selective photothermolysis. Heat from a laser destroys cells that have a lot of pigment (color). Since dark hair has a lot of pigment, it absorbs the most heat. Hair transfers heat to the hair follicles and destroys them, so hair can’t grow.

A hair follicle has to be in its anagen, or growth, stage for the procedure to work. Follicles are in different stages at different times, so most people need multiple laser treatments.

Results & Longevity:

Results vary from patient to patient and depend on factors such as the color and thickness of the hair, the area treated, and the patient’s skin type. Most patients will likely see immediate results after treatment, but multiple sessions are usually required for initial hair removal, and maintenance treatments might be needed as well. The treated area will feel smooth with a permanent reduction in hair growth after completing a full course, typically consisting of 6 to 9 months of treatments. After the course, maintenance top-ups may be required every 3 to 12 months depending on the individual’s hair cycle. When hair regrows, it tends to be finer and lighter in color. Laser hair removal is a relatively fast process and can guarantee long-term results with minimum side effects when performed by a trusted technician.

Laser hair removal can provide permanent or very long-lasting results on the body. Hair that regrows after laser hair removal may be finer and less coarse than before. The amount of time it takes for the hair to regrow depends on the person’s unique hair growth cycle. Most people can expect some hair regrowth within a few months.
In summary, laser hair removal can provide long-lasting results, but the duration of effectiveness varies among individuals. Regular maintenance sessions may be needed to sustain the desired outcome.

Treatment Time:

The exact length of each treatment session depends on the size of the area being treated. For small areas like the upper lip or chin, treatments can take a few minutes, while larger areas like the legs or back may take up to 30 minutes.
